"Landfall is a steeply pitched gable roof house situated on the rocks of the Brigus Battery at the mouth of Brigus Harbour." Now known as Kent Cottage, it is "historically significant because it is one of the oldest existing structures in Brigus," and was designated a Registered Heritage Structure in 1988 for its "historical, environmental and aesthetic values." source
